Biographical Information about Dr. Pagette
Dr. Pagette was born Melanie Rose Hendricks, and was reared in Austin. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School, and attended The University of Nevada-Reno for her undergraduate education. There she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Premedicine with a minor in Spanish. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Medical School. While in medical school she married Denis Pagette, who is from Quebec, Canada, in 1986. She then completed a residency program at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and had her two daughters, Christina and Caroline. The family moved to Florence, South Carolina where Dr. Pagette had a successful practice for 12 and a half years. She decided to move back to her home state of Texas in 2006. Her hobbies include: swimming, running, cooking and photography. Her family has a dog, a cat, two guinea pigs and assorted fish.
Biographical Information about Dr. Duncan
Dr. Duncan was born Blanca Azucena Nieto in Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to the United States at age 11. She spent most of her childhood in Louisiana. She completed her Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Finance at Louisiana State University. Her Doctor of Medicine degree was obtained from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport. She stayed on at LSUHSC to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is married to Adam, and she enjoys: reading, jogging, travel, and spending time with her family. They have two dogs and a cat.
Mockingbird Ob/Gyn
Mockingbird Ob/Gyn, P.A. was started by Dr. Pagette in 2006, after she moved back from South Carolina, where she had her first practice of 12 and one half years. She moved to her present office in May, 2011 in order to expand the practice, and Dr. Duncan joined Mockingbird in October, 2011. Dr. Pagette is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Duncan has completed her residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has passed the written board examination of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Our practice is an all female practice, and we are located in a beautiful building with its interior designed and finished out by Dr. Pagette's husband, Denis. It is in the Cat Hollow area of Round Rock, convenient to Round Rock Medical Center. We practice low and high risk obstetrics, and offer many services within our office. We do not perform abortions. Dr. Pagette and Dr. Duncan share call with four other female Ob/Gyns in Round Rock. Dr. Pagette speaks English, Spanish, and some French, and Dr. Duncan is fluent in English and Spanish. Our patients are local, but many are from international origin. We have cared for patients from China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Japan, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. We are pleased to have been serving: Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Austin, and Taylor. Our services include:
